We are an enthusiastic team. For each and every team member, the dissemination and further development of the International Society of Mayr Physicians is near and dear. Naturally, the whole Board works on a voluntary basis, due to passion and with the best interpersonal atmosphere.

We have the special good fortune to count on our secretary Edith Ettlmayr, who runs a tight ship regarding the administration and the daily business of the Society with high personal commitment. 



Alex Witasek, MD

Dr. Witasek

Born on January 29th, 1955 in Salzburg, Austria.
Medical studies in Innsbruck, Austria.
After residency training for general medicine focusing on surgery, he was the director of a UN medical center in Syria.
Since 1988, Dr. Witasek has worked in health hotels with a focus on F.X.Mayr medicine.
14 years medical director in the health center Lanserhof near Innsbruck, Austria.
Since 2006, medical director of the artepuri Hotel meerSinn on the island of Rügen, Germany.
Since 1998, President of the Board and associate lecturer of the International Society of Mayr Physicians.
Self-employed consultant and concept facilitator for health hotels and private health centers.

Studied human medicine in Munich. After a two-year research stay for the German Research Foundation at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, further training as a specialist for Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus, Dresden. For many years, taking an active part in research, teaching and patient care.

Promotion, habilitation, awarded the Venia Legendi for Interior Medicine and Master Degree in Health Economics and Health Management 2008.

Takeover and  direction of the areas Networks and Cooperation in the area of responsibility Executive Board, Organizational and Corporate Development at the university clinics of Dresden.
